Popularizing the Idea of Individual Freedom among Secondary School Students in Malakand Division

The concept of individual freedom remains a fundamental condition for human development and progress, deeply rooted in the philosophy and practice of education. Building on the success of our previous initiative in District Peshawar, this project aims to further popularize the idea of individual freedom and liberty among secondary school students across Malakand Division. The objective is to cultivate critical thinking, awareness of individual rights, and a sense of responsibility among youth in the region.
To achieve this goal, ECMPR will conduct 10 interactive sessions along with 10 follow-up sessions, engaging approximately 1500 male and female students from 10 different secondary schools in the target districts of Malakand Division. These sessions will be designed to encourage dialogue, reflection, and practical understanding of the principles of freedom and individual liberty within the local socio-cultural context.
Malakand Division has been selected for this extension due to its strategic importance as a culturally rich and educationally significant region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. With a growing youth population and increasing access to educational institutions, the region presents a valuable opportunity to instil the values of freedom, tolerance, and responsible citizenship among the next generation.
